FAQ

What teams ask before getting started.

Answers on setup, accuracy, control, security, and how Finz
works with your existing systems.
1. What systems does Finz connect to?

Finz currently connects to QuickBooks, US bank and card accounts, and spreadsheets. It can also ingest files, connect to external APIs, and work with file systems. Additional customer-specific workflow systems, including payroll, ERP, POS, Salesforce, or custom operating data sources, are reviewed and scheduled during onboarding.

2. Does Finz replace the accounting or ERP system we use?

No. Finz works above the existing stack. Your team keeps using its accounting system, banking tools, spreadsheets, and operating systems. Finz syncs the data into a weekly finance layer, while your team controls any write permissions or approvals.

3. How much of our team’s time is needed to run this?

After setup, Finz runs the workflow and generates the financial outputs automatically. Your team only reviews exceptions, approvals, and items that need judgment. Most reviews take a few minutes, with more complex exceptions usually taking under 30 minutes.

4. How accurate are the financial outputs?

Every output ties back to source data, ledger rows, transactions, documents, or mapped business drivers. Finz uses human-in-the-loop review for exceptions, and AI agents help identify and resolve discrepancies. Accuracy also depends on source data quality, so the Finz support team works with customers to clean up issues when the underlying data is incomplete or inconsistent.

5. How is Finz priced, and is there a free trial?

Finz is priced based on company size, entity structure, data sources, and workflow scope. There is no long-term commitment, and customers can start with a 30-day free trial. You can cancel anytime. A one-time setup fee may apply based on customization, system connectivity, and data setup.

6. Who supports us after we go live?

Early customers work directly with the Finz team, including the founders and CFO support. The first quarter includes weekly check-ins, then support moves to a regular cadence with on-demand access for urgent issues.

7. How is our data secured?

Customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is role-based by entity, function, and user. Source system access is read-only by default, with write actions explicitly authorized.
